Her arms wrapped around him, her grip gentle, but firm, making his skin burn and his heartbeat rise. Her voice, tender and warm, whispered sweet nothings in his ear. Every brush of her fingers, every caress of her breath left him feeling dizzy and weak. His resolve wavered, the more she touched him, the more she spoke. His head throbbed. The thumping of his heart reached a roaring crescendo. It was so tempting to just give in. But, he couldn’t go with her, not yet. The last drop from his canteen was long gone; desperate, he sliced open his camel.
