The Beast shredding. His wife and daughters screaming. The Beast gloating. Then consuming.
Those images went through the mind of the Samurai every minute of every day while he traveled to the Beast's cave. His anger had consumed him for a time, then did anguish, then did depression. Still, he followed the path to the Beast, and found it in a cave. He readied himself for the end.
However, he did not care what the outcome was. Even if he won, slayed the Beast that took his family, they would be gone forever.
He wanted an end. An eternal end.

Really like this. It has such an "epic" feel in just one hundred words. Great drabble, Brandon.
