Jesse was not having a good day.
When he woke up, he found that his finance had left him. For his best friend.
His friend also happened to be the person he rented his house from; therefore, he was evicted.
When he got to work, he was pink-slipped for being a higher paid employee.
Trying to drink it off in the bar, a gang took him outside, robbed and beat him into almost nothing.
On the way home, Jesse wondered if those years as a serial killer were worth it. Hell certainly seemed to live up to its reputation.

Clever title and interesting to see how a serial killer interprets Hell!

Thank you! I thought it would be a fun idea to lead the reader along into feeling compassion for the character's terrible circumstances, then completely shattering it in the last sentence. I thought the nature of Hell Jesse interprets would be interesting as well, and I'm glad you like it!
