Looking around him, Stevenson put on his Guy Fawkes mask. It has it own way of masking yourself yet unmasking your intentions.

Stevenson gathered his materials together. Fire means change. And the fire to touch his materials would do a lot of changing.

He drove his car with the materials inside, where its glory was sure to be seen. A delicate thing could break under the glory's pressure.

Stevenson stood outside the car, with his Guy Fawkes mask on, and lit his materials on fire. The car exploded in glory. The people's peace of mind was proven quite delicate indeed.

Nice to see an American who is familiar with Guy Fawkes! I liked this, Brandon and loved the closing line. I always enjoy reading your drabbles.

Thank you very much! As most Americans probably have, I first heard of Guy Fawkes through the use of a mask named for him in V For Vendetta, but I was really persuaded to write this after reading about the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. I found the story so interesting myself, that it is no surprise the Guy Fawkes mask was used by Alan Moore and David Lloyd and that it has become a symbol of anti-establishment thought.

I'm a big fan of Moore.
