En mand sætter sig bag et rat, drejer nøglen i tændingen og træder gaspedalen i bund. Buldrende torden fylder garagen. Vibrationer løber gennem sæde og krop. Med kanten at en handskeklædt hånd justerer han bakspejlet og skubbede gearvælgeren til ’Reverse’.
I et køkken spiser en ung pige morgenmad. Cornflakes og juice. Og æg. Da bordet er ryddet, kysser hun sin mor farvel og cykler afsted mod sin skole.
Et trafiklys skifter til rødt. Manden standser, ser på sit ur og bander.
Pigen cykler og synger. For enden af bakken svinger hun til højre mod krydset.
Her mødes manden og pigen.

    Tried to Google translation but it wasn't perfect. So, what exactly happened at the red light when they met? Thanks!

    Even if it is mostly a matter of copy/paste, I’m actually flattered that someone went that far to try to make it make sense.
    Like other Germanic languages, Danish is full of wonderfully energy efficient and space saving compound words (perfect Drabble language). So, even if Google Translate is (I’m sure) trying its best, stuff is bound to get lost in translation every now and then.
    As for what happens when the young girl on the bicycle meets the stressed out man in the muscle car at the intersection … nothing good, I’m afraid.
    I’ll post an English version. Someday. Maybe.
