A faint scent transports me to sakura season in Japan. Nature draped in blossom pink. The hues painting my mood and tickling daydreaming powers teleporting me in that tangent.
While my tongue, captivated, faces the torment of mesmerizing sweetness. Where the pastry crumbles and the clafoutis compete to cheer me and fill my cavities. I can only surrender.
They settled to be a sojourn in the surroundings of splitting reality.
Like we all have shades, the cherry has its own too. A pit brings me back to reality, stoning my senses.
But only your dreams don’t need pruning

I was hoping to create under " show, don't tell " theme . Open to suggestions!

I could taste the cherry and feel the stone. Enjoyed . The stone can be bitter but it's part of the experience isn't it. Perhaps like the sand in the sandwiches when you eat them on the beach. :-)

Although I have worked a lot all over France, I have never experienced clafoutis. Thanks for the insight. If I am able to go there again I will try it.
