So let us guess which side we really belong?
Nevertheless, being taught the difference between right and wrong, we usually wander through countless incidents, where decisions are in spur seconds. Split between the misery of being selfish, opportunistic and being altruistic. What we ought to do is, draw a line in the sand….
As said by Sarah Breathnach, "Regret is the only wound a soul does not recover from." We have collected enough to mire down in our graves.
Why can't we give in ? look at the line in the sand? makes the world a better place - for all.

A really interesting drabble, Verity. Welcome to Drablr. I always think that regret is pointless, unless... you learn from the regretted experience. When I was young, I asked my mother one day how could I tell what was right and what was wrong. She wisely told me “What is wrong is what you wouldn’t be happy telling your mother about!” And then I knew... and still do.

completely agree with you, that's a wise advice by your mother.
I do think when we grow, the gap between does come closer, and then we start to reason from the perspective of selfishness. hope we remain sane for longer time!
