The helmsman's earphones played an evocative track that the kids, still sleeping below, must've downloaded. The catamaran's mainsail crackled, taut lines hummed, sails straining every knot from the invigorating breeze, cresting waves under a cobalt sky, with deserted ultramarine horizon to horizon. Another track played, more lyrical than before. Entranced, the helmsman thought to check his iPhone during his wife's breakfast. Suddenly, the boat shuddered, sharp rocks ripping the hulls. She sank instantly, utterly without trace.

"Well, was I right installing hi-speed broadband?" the beauty crowed, "Or was I right?"

"You were right, Sis!" chorused the other two Sirens.
