Grand Launch

There was an expectant atmosphere for the new edition launch. A crowd of devotees waited patiently in line for the doors to open. It had been heavily advertised and they turned out in their droves.

I was surrounded by youthful geeks, I appeared to be the only middle-aged woman there. I felt nervous, a little out of place but was soon at the counter.

"Certainly, Madam," the fresh-faced youngster in corporate image t-shirt replied, as he acknowledged my requirements in the newspaper ad I unfolded.

"And what drink would you like with your new-style Happy Meal?"
