Damian preferred the plastic dinosaurs his daddy bought him before Mummy had gotten the new daddy.
This daddy bought him toys but they weren't as good.
The car 'Daddy' gave him last night looked like their real car. He played with it, and the dinosaurs.
The crash was really good, with bangs and screaming. Then the t-rex put his head through the soft top.
Nine miles away the circumstances appeared normal; too fast for the road conditions, the convertible had crashed, the driver still strapped in. But the officer retching by the road couldn't explain the driver's missing head.

I wonder if he'd been drinking and was 'off his head'! Nice one, Shaun. :-)

Wow, creepy! I love writing with an ending that makes you go back and reread everything - from the title, to the characters' names, to phrases and sentences - with a whole new mindset informed by what was discovered in the first reading. Very effective!
