The singularity, that crossing of humanity and technology, was a non-event. Just like the year two thousand was a complete non-event, in that nothing went wrong; after nearly a decade of freaking out because no-one thought their software would still be in use twenty years later.

So yeah. Like anything gradual, the tech kept getting smarter, faster and smaller. We got used to talking again, first to our computers then our homes.

Privacy advocates quietly sloped off to find new causes as quantum encryption became rife.

Nanotech fixed aging, regrew limbs, repaired damage and augmented where needed.
