“I look more handsome in reality, so you think,” I told her as she stood ogling.
“You nailed it, Mind Reader. Now please let me have some privacy at least in my thoughts!” Prof. Linda chuckled and sat on the chair across from me.
“How’s your research into animal adaptations progressing?” I queried.
She quietly, mysteriously, scrutinized me in response.
Suddenly, Linda’s slender hands swelled. Her chest flattened, and her throat stiffened.
And, in an instant, she transformed into a man.
A man who looked exactly like I did.
I, Dr Gerald McDermott, the future Nobel Laureate in Computational Neuroscience.
