The plane cruised at 490 knots above clouds that floated like big bales of cotton.
An unruly kid kept kicking the back of my seat.
When I got up in the wee hours to catch the flight, I thought I could make up for the loss by dozing off on the flight.

Maybe the kid would fall asleep at some point, I hoped, but in vain

While standing in the queue for immigration, someone kicked me in the butt.
It was the kid again.
I had had enough.
Exasperated, I turned to his mother.
The lady flashed a disarming smile.

    Yep! I know the kid in the seat behind experience.... and I know the effects of a lady’s disarming smile! Nice one!
