Pixelated rays from the sun overtake my eyes. There before me, around me, quite possibly even inside me I feel them growing. Strands of thickly woven threads collect me in their soft embrace as I rest before the cap of the mightiest being I have seen.
I scale it like a tree while the world distorts around me, sending shivers down my spine as I cling entranced to its porous, moist fibers.
I have seen the light. Not the false light of the sun, but the light from beneath us. A phosphorescent God who welcomes me to the bewitching decay.

Creepy and effective ending! Your words are poetic and I liked the images you conjure.

I always find your work to be filled with interesting imagery that makes the work feel a lot more literal than figurative, and I feel that it does a really good job of creating that creepy feeling perfect for horror. I really liked this story!
