How Could Anyone Be That Cruel?

I worked as a waiter in a classy restaurant under my self-righteous manager.

I was doing my usual rounds until she barked to get her order taken.

I wrote her order and handed it to the chef.

My manager and her spotted me and he pull me aside.

He said I need to leave the restaurant as punishment for keeping her waiting over an hour.

I told him to look at the camera tapes to see she ordered five minutes ago.

I was fired the next day.

How could anyone be that cruel?
