"It's outdated Boss," said The Elf. "These kids are more conflicted than ever before. Please."

"No! You're making excuses for them!"

"But Boss-"

"Gray area? Moral ambiguity? Nonsense! There's only naughty and nice! If the children want their toys, then they must be nice!"

"Is a homeless child naughty for stealing food only to feed himself?"
