Vicious Circle

In a vicious circle, resentment is strong,
All you do is always wrong,
You can't climb up and you can't climb back,
The vicious circle holds you fast.

You can't reach out, without backing down,
Kindly acts are turned round,
As if by trying to break the shape,
You somehow say, 'It's my mistake.'

If you don't or won't withdraw,
The vicious circle spins and roars,
Sharpened words, blasted forth,
The vicious circle has no doors.

Back away, act with grace,
Until the circle loses pace,
In a vicious circle it all goes south,
For vicious circle - read unkind mouth.
