Drabble 13

Thirteen?! Slightly alarming!
I'm not superstitious at all - not really! But taking chances you don't need to? Well! That's reckless.
I can't leave it there. Better write something. Anything.
'And if it's just a load of rubbish?' What then? Asked the voice of reason.
For someone who is not superstitious the compunction to write was strong.
I remember, spending an extra penny to make sure I didn't have an odd thirteen pence in my wallet. But I'm not superstitious. Not at all.
Besides, I read that thirteen can sometimes be lucky.
Who cares about this stuff? Not superstitious, at all!
