Creatures of Habit

Where are they all going? I wondered. Great swathes and hordes. Menacing scavengers flying North West. They’re all going the wrong way?
I rescued myself with Google.
Some stay in the UK and move to winter grounds. Others head further South. Many head back to their preferred gangland in this cold, miserable country.
Others migrate. How do you know which are making short commute?
If we’d been given Google sooner, I swear I could have been intelligent. Stone the crows! Will humans now get cleverer? Or will we do what we always have? Creatures of habit – with no wings!
