The parcel was left with a neighbor. A copy of an Italian phrase book originally bought by Diane in 1998 for a trip to lake Garda. Later Diane came to think of this holiday as the moment her marriage ended. The phrasebook went to the charity shop in a big clear out. That's how it ended up sat on Nicky and Paul's hall radiator for a couple of days. During this time Paul decided that Nicky was having an affair with Gary from work. It took a month for him to move out but that was the start of it.
