Sandy looked around her flat, the décor was typical 1970’s, she hated it. Her back was still bruised from the last encounter with her landlord. She managed to get a better job and could now afford to pay rent, but he refused, preferring instead to use her. She complained to the police, and when the officer came around to take a statement her landlord walked in at the same time. The officer took his cuffs off and cuffed her as they both took turns. They had laughed afterwards, slapping each other’s back. The officer was the landlord’s brother-in-law.
