I just stared at him.

"Oh, I solved the case of the missing strippers. Well, all but one," I said.
"Exzellent. Vhat happened to zhem?"
"They were murdered. By Madame Helga."
A chorus of gasps went through the room.
Schmidt said, "You are lying, Randolph."
"No, I'm not," I said. "I saw her trying to kill her next victim. So I shot her. She's dead."
