"Stabbing a naked girl on a concrete slab?" I asked. "What the hell does that symbolize?"

Mindy got off the slab, grabbing a robe that was draped across a chair.

"Don't you have better things to do, Randolph, than to go poking your nose in where it doesn't belong? This was an acting test! They were trying to see how frightened I could act!"
