Requiem For A Stripper #142

by

She had two suitcases packed. We went to pick one up each and our faces nearly collided. She leaned in and kissed me.

"I'm sorry," she said as she pulled away.

I grabbed her and pulled her back toward me, "I'm not."

I kissed her back, and she grabbed me tightly and kissed me with all the passion of a woman who had been sat on the sidelines watching the game for years and finally was called to play.

We didn't even go to the bedroom. Why go on an expedition when there was a handy couch right beside us?

Jake doesn't usually get this much action in one story! But the narrative took over, and what the narrative wants the narrative gets.

Obey the narrative! And Jake obeyed his instincts... but she started it!

Thanks, Christopher, for a bargain bonanza offering this morning. Wow, there’s a lot that’s happened to get here... all great reading too!😁

Thanks, Neville. I just didn't want to stop in the middle of that scene, but I didn't realize until I was done posting just how many drabbles that was.
