Requiem For A Stripper #36

by

She looked like she was going to be sick. She started shaking.

"Hey, calm down, kid. It's okay," I said as I pulled her to me. She started sobbing onto my chest.

This is apparently my 2500th drabble. I looked back and saw that earlier this month was my eight-year anniversary here (June 6th, 2015). Time flies when you're looking at the world 100 words at a time!

Many congratulations, Christopher. A terrific milestone... and if, as I hope will be the case, you finish and post the other Jake Randolph stories you have in the pipeline, then even that will quickly be eclipsed. I think I started on Drablr at a similar time to you.

But, back to the story... don’t think I can’t spot what you’re up to Jake Randolph! Holding Jen Ann close 🥴...
