I stood up, "Okay, Jen. I'll poke around and see if I come up with anything. Will you be at the Gilded Daffodil tonight?"
She stood up, "Mmhmm. I'm on every night but Sunday."
"Observing the Sabbath?" I asked with a grin.
"Well, God rested that day, so why not me? I'll be on at 10 pm tonight."
"I'll stop by there and let you know if I've come up with anything."
"Thank you, Jake. See you soon," she said as she turned and walked out.
I watched her gams and began to feel a cannibalistic twinge surging within me...

Thanks, Neville. I'm enjoying this one more than any of the other Jake stories I've started writing over the past two years. But it's already started taking a life of its own and mutated from what I originally planned. But that's the normal process for these stories so I just roll with it.
