Lyman sighed, "They made bail. Someone's on the take. I'm sorry, Jake. I've been trying to reach you."
"Well, Gertie's kidnapped Brick Mason and if I don't show up by midnight where she has him held she's gonna kill him."
"Listen, Jake. Don't go alone. It's not just her that made bail. All of them did: Gertie and her goons, Jack Salem, Charlie 3, Nigel Buckingham. All of them!"
"Well, I have to go alone or she's going to kill Mason."
"Call Harrigan, Jake. You need some backup."

I guess it must be someone high up in the police who’s on the take. You need to nail him Jake... and when you do, you’ll have the taste for private dicking again!

Haha! I actually named him after a old musician from the late 50's named Arthur Lyman. He did that kind of Tiki bar, Polynesian sort of music that I've been listening to for the last few years. I'm getting weirder in my old age!
