"I'd say good luck," I said, looking around at the ruins that used to be a movie studio. "This place is going to need a lot of work before it's ready to start making movie magic."
She nodded, "They're about to start the renovations in a couple of days."
"Okay," I said, "so what does that have to do with you?"
She smiled, "William Sperry, the man who's resurrecting Paragon wants me to be the Head of Talent at the studio."
"Wow, that's great!"
She nodded, "And he's going to sign all four of my clients to long-term contracts."

Sorry to stop posting in the middle of this scene but I need to pace myself, as I'm still in the middle of writing this.

Eeeew! Lucky you Rox! But is the real talent gonna want to come out to that godforsaken desert? I heard Presley wants to get into the movies though and he’s a one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready and go go go. But I guess he’s just a one-hit wonder.

It was an amusing thought to me, knowing Elvis' history, for Jake to think he would just be a one-hit wonder.

being always paranoid, I'd ask, who is this William Sperry and why is he so interested in Roxy (apart from the obvious LOL 🤣)

All will be revealed, Frenchie!
