And Now A Word From Our Sponsor #45
The following is a paid political advertisement to elect General Panic:
"Ten-hut! General Panic here. After a lifetime of waging needless wars all over the globe I've come back to throw my hat in the ring for president. My running mate, Major Catastrophe, and I have roamed the length and breadth of this great land and we've learned something: Americans are motivated by fear! So it's my job to scare the utter hell outta you so you'll vote for me!
"Remember, a vote for General Panic will be a Major Catastrophe!
"I'm General Panic and I approved this message."

Totally nonpartisan. Just a comment on politicians from all parties needing to scare the shit out of us during an election year.
(Apologies to XTC for pinching their lyrics for the title of this drabble)

And I thought that just me and my elder son were XTC fans...

I liked the early stuff. By the time they were doing stuff like "The Mayor of Simpleton" and "Dear God" I wasn't listening to them anymore. But "Respectable Street" is one of my favorite songs of all time.
