The Gift #2

by

A man was walking down the street, trying to figure out what to get his new wife for Christmas. He passed by the homeless soul, looked down, and dropped a dollar into the cup. The homeless man smiled up at him, as if it were a million. The man walked on by, then turned and went into the store. He returned, after spending all his money, with a brand new coat, socks and boots. He gave them to the homeless man, and they both shed tears.

The man walked away, knowing he'd just gotten the perfect gift for his bride.

How lovely, Christopher. The two stories so complement each other. Great drabbles
