I felt like I might be able to slip one of my hands out from the rope if I just had a little more time. I also felt like I was getting lightheaded and was going to pass out. But I kept torturing my wrists by moving them quickly against the rope. I knew I had broken the skin because I could feel the saltwater stinging my wrists.
Soon I was back in the shower with Tiffany, my time being tortured a distant memory. The only trouble was I couldn’t breathe. She looked at me funny as I began choking…

omg this has hit one of my big fears - being underwater, not being able to breathe. I'm taking this one drabble at a time! Mainly because it's so brilliantly written :)

Thanks so much, Drew.
I have fear of not being able to breathe too. I had bronchitis once and couldn't breathe and had to be rushed to the hospital and for years after that anytime I got short of breath it triggered a panic attack.

That's horrible, but so understandable, Christopher.
