I continued, "But then he sent one telling Sharkey his 'blood would run like Rivers'."
"Wow. That's kind of stupid, isn't it? To let him know who's doing it?"
I shook my head, "Not really. He wanted Sharkey to sweat first, wondering who it was. Then he wanted him to know who it was before he actually killed him. Speaking of which, I need to call Sharkey to make sure everything's okay."
The door to my room opened and Sharkey came through.
"No need for that, Randolph. I'm here."
I smiled. I was glad to see he was still alive...

Neville, this is the drabble I was talking about that I mentioned it to you. The one about blood running like Rivers. I thought it was weird that you said that in one of the comments because I had just written this drabble a couple of days ago but hadn't even posted it yet.

I'm impressed that you plan ahead, Christopher. These days I just type them straight into the Drablr box, unplanned...which probably shows. :-(

It doesn't show. But for me, because these are period pieces I have to do so much research that I have to plan ahead some. This one is particularly hard to keep up with because it's going between 1945 and 1962.
If it's a non-Jake related drabble most times I type it right here because I'll get an idea while I'm working or something and I'll do it during lunch.
