My mind could barely fathom all these events. I was running away from a man I trusted, a man I didn't know was a criminal, to warn a man I knew was a criminal and didn't think I could trust any further than I could throw him, but yet seemed to have more of a sense of honor than a man I would've given my life for just a few days ago. The contrast was startling.
