He was still holding the case of money with the arm he had wrapped around Heidi's waist, and with the other he had his pistol pressed against her temple.
Schmidt screamed out, "Liebchen!"
Hall yelled, "I'll blow this bitch's brains out if any of you make the slightest movement."
He was standing with his back to the door, kicking it open from behind and dragging Heidi out into the dark Mexican morning. He walked backwards, his gun still against the side of Heidi's head.
We all slowly exited the building, watching helplessly as he made it to the plane's door...

These 'bad guy' mafiosi seem to be gentlemen too! Why should they care about the 'bitch', she's one of the really bad guys!

They're only following the lead of their boss, and I think he really is a gentleman. Believe me, he wasn't supposed to be that when I first conceived him. He was originally supposed be be named "Sharkey" for reasons other than being a loan shark. But, like all the other Randolph stories, the narrative took on a mind of its own.
