"Hello, Colonel," Russo said in a tone so cool I almost got frostbite.

I was around the side of the building in the dark but I could see Hall as he saw Russo and said, "Sharkey! What are you doing...," he paused as he saw the guns and then finished his question, "...here?"

Russo was an iceberg that could've easily sunk the Titanic. "You didn't tell me that gold was Nazi loot."

"Caveat emptor, Sharkey," Hall said.

"What the hell does that mean?" Russo asked, puzzled.

"Let the buyer beware," I said as I stepped slowly out of the shadows...
