I laid it on thick, "I just wondered how you felt about doing business with an Army deserter and a Nazi."

Russo's men stopped working and looked at him and then looked at me. I think they wondered if Russo would plug me right there. I wondered that myself.

"Randolph, I think you got a coupla screws loose."
