"Of course," Russo said, smiling at me. I thought for just a moment that he actually had the teeth of a shark.
Hall and Schmidt closed their cases and started out the door, followed by Heidi. She turned around and looked at me for a moment. I thought I detected a twinge of sympathy for me...
