I was starting to know what Custer felt like at the Battle Of The Little Bighorn. It was imperative now that I get out of there quickly and wait until the business had been transacted. The cab had been sitting long enough by that point to crank again after I flooded the carburetor. I figured I should make a quick getaway.
I tried to make my way as inconspicuously as possible back to the cab. I had the bowl of water in my hand but was going to ditch that ruse once I got back to the car.
No dice...

Well, I was just being silly. Been working late a lot recently. Big shake ups at work.
Thanks for reading.

I hope you're not shaken up at work, Christopher. Don't worry if you have to delay any postings of Jakey-boy; we're still here and I'll just have to have corn flakes instead of my favourite serial! :-)

Haha. Thanks, Neville. No, it's a change in the software system we use and it's a nightmare. It's going to take a few months to get everything integrated into the new system.
