Comfortably Dumb

I had a deep and meaningful conversation with a friend recently:

Me: I've always wanted to see Mt. Rushmore.

Friend: I can't stand him or his obnoxious right-wing radio show.

Me (in disbelief): Not Rush Limbaugh! Mt. Rushmore!

Friend: Never heard his radio show.

Me (angrily): It's not a he, it's a frigging mountain!

Friend: Rush Limbaugh?

Me (apoplectic): Mount Rushmore!!!!

Friend: Why are we still talking about this guy?

(Of course, this was the same friend who came out of the theater after Titanic and The Passion Of The Christ and said, "Boy, I didn't see that coming!")
