Evicted

The Landlord told the new tenants that they had to go, effective immediately. The terms of the lease had been violated. It was quite a blow. This was the only home they'd ever known. And now they were evicted. There were pleas to the Landlord that went unheard. Rules were rules. If they weren't followed to the letter then their mutual agreement was off, with no reprieve

As they exited their home for the final time, Adam looked back with sadness and trepidation. Then he looked at Eve and thought to himself: Woman, I hope you're worth all of this.
