She said she would love me 'til the day she died.
We had a good life together. A few rough patches here and there, but we made a home and raised our children. We were a team. We did everything together. Once the kids were gone, I noticed us drifting apart. Just a slight feeling, barely discernible. It wasn't confirmed until I found the texts between her and my business partner, Bill. Very loving, erotic, explicit.
I'll deal with Bill later. As for my wife, I made sure she kept her word. She loved me 'til the day she died.

Thank you, Michelle. Another lady asked me the same question. I don't think that just because someone has an affair that they stop loving their spouse. But he intended to make sure it never got to the point where she did stop loving him, thereby breaking her word. At least that's my take on it.
