Stars And Beetles Two

Stars And Beetles

Do ladybirds hear crickets?
Catch many another sound
In my minds ear
Only there but wait

For city songs in thickets
A desert howl in sun cracked ground
Traffic noise atop an iron gate

Tiny eyes beholding
A million hints of some day break
So deep in what seemed spelled out as the dark
Tiny minds unfolding

The maps to muddled way make
Sent accross the light years to the park

Stars and Beetles
Giving me pins and needles
In a stranger way than I can understand

Taking me everywhere
And in a stranger way than I could ever say

Stars And Beetles One

Stars And Beetles

Stars and Beetles
Giving me Pins and Needles
In a stranger way than I can understand

Looking to the north star
Catch many another sight
On the way and in the way and oh

I can see you've come far
Through a not quite endless night
Burning dark and brighter than we know

Going? Take me with you
But not without a get out clause
I seek escape yet hanker after home

A magic door to go through
Yet with a way to put on 'Pause'
A journey I'm about to make alone

Beetles and stars
Right here and Mars
