Don't Dye On Me!

Growing Old With Grace #2

I bought some of that dye to put on my hair. Grace always liked running her fingers through my chocolate dark hair back when we were first married 56 years ago. I wondered if I could get her to do it again.

I locked myself in the bathroom and followed the instructions to the letter. When I finished I couldn't tell if it looked right or not. Grace would have to be the judge.

I emerged from the bathroom and found her in the kitchen.

She laughed for 2 minutes and then said, "You look like Lyle Waggoner's great grandfather!"

The Faith Healer

Growing Old With Grace #1

Grace and I were married in 1965. We survived the Nixon administration, the 70's, Disco, raised kids who now have grown kids of their own.

Lately, I've been having trouble in the lower region. Pills, diet, nothing gets the battery charged. Distraught, I turned on a faith healer on TV.

"If you need a healing, put one hand on the affected area and the other on the TV."

I put one hand on the TV and the other on my crotch. Grace walked by.

"Tom, he said he could heal the sick. He didn't say he could raise the dead!"
