“Where are you going?” he asked.

“I dunno, far away from you,” she said.

“I won’t let you go,” he growled, blocking the door.

“Oh yeah? I’d like to see you stop me. We are finished! You hear me? Finished!”

She looked at him with daggers in her eyes.

He took a step back and let her pass. Let her think she got away. Now was not the time to act. He needed a new plan fast and... she would soon realise who pulled the strings in this relationship.
No one, absolutely no one left him unless he said so.
