Choosing Power

Superstrength might be good
If it was for opening jars
And stretching might be helpful
When items are too far

Flying always sounds so cold
High up in the clouds
And invisibility always sounds
Like a death shroud.

Laser eyes would just be
Another thing wrong with mine
And I'm not sure that I'd want
To run faster than time

I wouldn't want telepathy
My own thoughts are enough
And teleporting around the place
Sounds like it would be tough

Perhaps I could create music
Blasting waves of sound
For music always gives me
That power that knows no bounds.
