Richard wonders who the family is. They've already vacated the premises. House left cold, empty. Were they rich? Just didn't pay their mortgage? Hardships? Or reaching beyond their means? Entitled? Life of luxury then declare bankruptcy?
Richard wonders if he should pity the family or rue them.
Either way, it's a good spot for his dog to take a shit.

Loved it. I understand the curiosity. Sounds like they shouldn't have had a mortgage in the first place.
