Ginger, Dead

Crime scene: a dead girl on the side of the highway near the river. No head. She was wearing lace leggings and running shoes. Strands of red hair, believed to be her own, clung to her shirt. If there was a fight, there were no witnesses. Her attacker left no evidence behind. Something had been eating her, but the damage wasn’t post-mortem. There were teeth marks all over her arms. She carried no ID but wore a dog tag necklace engraved with the words “You can’t catch me” on the back. She dissolved in the rain the next day.
