Things don't work the way they should be, does it?
You expect for one thing,
But the opposite happens.
You worked hard at your test
Expecting to pass.
But you failed.
You brought an umbrella
Expecting rain by the afternoon.
But it was sunny like a summer's day.
You went to school early
Expecting your groupmates to be there.
But no one came.
You had high grades
Expecting to be top in class.
But you weren't.
You really liked him,
And expected him to like you back.
But he didn't.
It's so sad, isn't it?
