I grew up with them, cherished my favourites. I've still got them, although somewhere between now and 1976 my copy of the Wise Robin got mislaid.

I ferret through boxes outside bookshops hoping to find a copy as tattered and well loved as mine was. Getting one from eBay doesn't thrill me at all.

Besides. I think I'm also secretly hoping to find that plain covered version of The Computer (How it Works) 1971. Produced especially to train the MOD staff. It's now one of the most sort after books but I just want to prove it's not a myth.
