He was young, tall and terribly good looking. In Risk management. Had tried three times to explain his job to me. He'd gone into fathomless depths about ISO31000. Paused only when our starters at last arrived.
As he speared a shrimp and dripped thousand island onto limp iceberg my thoughts drifted. To my Nan's in 1978 and her rusted metal carpet sweeper. I was sure it had ISO31000 on its once brown casing.
I find, as a general rule of thumb, if I think about Nan's Ewbank on a first date there probably shouldn't be a second.

(Skin Deep will be back soon with a vengeance. Got a humungous amount of urgent work work right now which is applying huge pressure and I have a 3 day course to attend at the end of the week. Not forgotten by any means, but thanks for the interest, Lisa.)
